How it started

Hey y'all. My name is April Cravatt, a 21 year old very new wife. Three weeks ago on April 22nd 2017 I married my best friend, Clayton. We met at church and were friends for almost a year before we started dating, then proceeded to date for one year before we got married. I have never met someone who understood everything about me, and cared to know about me like he does. Meeting at church made some of the commonalities, expectations, and hopes for a relationship become a reality. We decided seeking the Lord first in everything had to be a priority.... (we DEFINITELY would not be where we are today without Gods grace and mercy).

Everyone loves to portray an image of your relationship as "perfect", but we all know that "perfect" does not exist outside of God himself. While this has been an amazing journey, we have experienced a few speed bumps along the way... thus making it a journey. Honestly, after is all said and done, i wouldn't change a thing. Without those speed bumps, we would not be the couple we are, with the strength and knowledge that we have gained through it all.

Through this blog I want to be real.. true blue...nitty gritty, real. Marriage is an amazing form of unity and I cannot wait to share our journey along the way. Here's to forever with my best friend.
